After 1 Year of hard work, the first Nexxt album, “Addicted to Sin”, is now released. The band from Foggia (Italy) plays a modern and powerful metal, that drains lymph from many sub-genera (heavy-thrash-metalcore-prog) shaping a unique personal sound. Addicted to sin is a concept made of 10 original songs characterized with tempo changing, unusual heavy guitar riffs, odd Rhythms and bulk of rage. Lyrics have always been crucial for the band: Nexxt’s songwriting goes beyond good and evil, against the hypocrisy of faith and loyalty, digging deep in the mistery of love and hate. Among the tracks of the album: “Angel of anger”, a corrosive explosion of sick guitars as opening-track; the disturbing shock wave of “Taste the flowers” and the surreal trip of “Uqbar”, inspired from a novel by J.L. Borges.
