Tune into the Spinner Spinner.com - Free MP3s, Interviews, Music News, Live Performances, Songs and Videos to catch the premiere on Monday! Some early vibes on the new album:
'these guys are big-hearted boys from the same planet as the early Beatles. Proof that maturity needn't kill a thrill, KONK has tunes galore, plus jumpy skiffle-band beats tightened by several seasons spent on the road.' - LA Weekly
'you can almost feel them channel the forebears of their musical influence, The Beatles, The Monkees, Blur, Oasis, and The Kinks. Their songs offer a retrospective of what has made British Indie Pop so palatable to the ears of the American audience.' - LAist
'The Kooks have been described as an 'almost-perfect' blend of 60s- and 90s-style Britpop and the new millenniums post-punk. What we dig about these guys in their young twenties is their energy and exuberance. But, these Brits have got talent to back that up. They may be a young band, but they sometimes seem like experienced professionals.' - Black Book
