AS I LAY DYING / NEAERA tour begins in Eight days! Competitions and quotes!
Eight more days until AS I LAY DYING will be playing the first show on their upcoming European tour. Support on the mainland comes from NEAERA, there will be a third band playing on most shows (local supports). Local supports will be playing in the UK directly before AS I LAY DYING.
PETA are one of the tour sponsors and are currently running a competition online
They have two As I Lay Dying skate decks signed by the band to give away and three As I Lay Dying shirts and signed CD’s for the runners-up!
“We are excited to get back to Europe and play a bunch of cities that we were not able to visit the last time. Europe seems to get better and better for us each time we come and we hope this time will be no exception. We’ve done many festivals in Europe, but it’s these more personal club shows where we get to play a longer set and get more intimate with our fans that we enjoy the most. Metal Blade to reissue FATES WARNING´s “Perfect Symmetry”!
Metal Blade will release a special edition of FATES WARNING's 1989 LP "Perfect Symmetry" in June.
The package will include:
* Remastered Audio! * A bonus disc of "Perfect Symmetry" demos! * DVD with over 90 minutes of live footage!

"Perfect Symmetry" was recorded and mixed between April 1989 and May 1989 at Carriage House Studios, Stamford, CT. The CD was produced by Roger Probert for Major Productions and was mixed by Phil Magnotti and Max Norman. It was the first album to feature Mark Zonder on drums.

Vocalist Ben Goreskin of the UK extreme metal act act GOREROTTED has issued the following update:
"The boys have literally just entered Parlour Sounds Studios with producers Russ Russell and James Dunkley to begin production on 'Get Dead Or Die Trying', and I'll be joining them in a few weeks to lay down some vocals. We're incredibly excited to be working with these reputable gentlemen and also to lay down our most accomplished, diverse and strongest material to date."
GOREROTTED recently parted ways with drummer John Rushforth. His replacement is Nate Gould of UK weirdoes Screamin´ Daemon.
Hollands new Death Metal Gods HAIL OF BULLETS are currently in the process of mixing their yet untitled debut album. Dan Swanö of Edge Of Sanity fame (a.o.) is in charge and here´s a little update on things by drummer Ed Warby: “Dan's working his ass off to deliver the most savage, massive and brutal mix ever and we're almost there! The first mix was good but a bit too nice, the second one nasty but not yet heavy enough, and late last night Dan dropped a ****en bomb on us entitled "mix3". It's a scorcher. As with all mixes there's still some details that need to be worked out, but when your own music starts giving you goosebumps, you know things are on the right track! Every part I had doubts about before now works like a perfect warmachine. Amazing what a change in sound and/or level can do to an arrangement.” HAIL OF BULLETS have uploaded another video, this time you see Paul and Stephan recording the guitars for the debut ablum at Excess Studios in Holland.
