I gotta respect Be Your Own Pet's interesting idea to end a gig with a food fight. During the last song, they bust out some cans of whipped cream and the crowd relatiates with whatever is on hand, be it ketchup or spaghetti-o's. After a number of performances ending in wild food fights, a recent show in London was described as 'tame' by the band, who implied they wouldn't be doing the food fight again.

Have good ideas, but don't beat them to death! There is a difference between being wild and unpredictable and being a gimmick act.
