 Justin to play London’s Roundhouse Wednesday 23rd April 2008 – Roundhouse Studio
Sensational Canadian born singer Justin Nozuka returns to London for his first UK show of 2008 this April. Nozuka will be playing a one-off exclusive show at Camden’s highly acclaimed Roundhouse, in the studio, on April 23rd.
At only 19, Justin has the ability to wow crowds with his soulful voice and passionate lyrics, not to mention his boyish good looks and mysterious disposition. His debut album, Holly, has earned the singer has earned the singer-songwriter a Best New Artist Juno nomination in Canada and has seen him gain growing numbers of fans in Europe and the US.
Born in New York to a Japanese father and Canadian mother, Justin moved to Canada aged 8 with his mother and siblings. He learned to play the guitar at school in Aurora, Ontario – taught by Mexican friends, and started writing songs aged only 12. The live performances from Justin Nozuka demonstrate this experience, and most importantly – his exceptional talent.
His recent visits to the UK have seen the Canadian create a genuine and un-hyped buzz around the country, and the responses to his live performance remain the same wherever he plays: an audience in awe. A true word of mouth artist, Justin continues to pick up a passionate and dedicated fan base wherever he goes.
Justin’s UK tour back in September 2007 saw both Bristol’s Louisiana club and London’s 229 sell out, much to the disappointment of the gaggle of teenage girls waiting outside. He has since been playing out sell-out audiences in Amsterdam, and is about to take off on a European tour with dates in Germany and France, among others.
The special one-off Roundhouse show on 23rd April will see a more developed Justin take to the stage – in both his song-writing and performance - definitely a show not to be missed.
