Here's the latest update from Hassle Records, including news on a brand new release on Monday. We'll jump straight into it...

Out 21/04/08

That's right, our favourite filthy metal & hardcore cross-breed merchants Cancer Bats return with their sophomore album 'Hail Destroyer' on Monday 21st April 2008. Available on both CD and download, this record marks a full-on, sweaty leap forward for these four lovable Canadians and contains 12 of the most jugular grabbing, mosh-pit inciting anthems you'll hear for a long while. And don't just take our word for it:

"the most insanely balls-out rock band to emerge in years" - Kerrang!
"...this band is bloody great" - Metal Hammer
"punked up rock and roll at its finest" - Rock Sound

The band are also on tour throughout May, so be sure to check them out at one of the following shows. Trust us, you won't regret it!

May
12 - Cardiff Barfly
13 - Birmingham Barfly
14 - Glasgow Barfly
15 - York Fibbers/Barfly
16 - Cambridge Barfly
17 – Brighton Barfly
18 - Leeds Cockpit
19 - Nottingham Old Angel
20 - Sheffield Corporation

Out 05/05/08

Our newest pop punk sensations Four Year Strong will release their debut album 'Rise Or Die Trying' on 05/05/08 (NOTE CHANGE OF DATE). And what a debut album it is - seriously one of our favourite discoveries of recent years! We're super excited to have added America's current buzz band to our roster so early in their careers, and cannot wait for them to get over here and bring their double bass pedal infused sunshine punk to the UK masses. And lucky for us, we won't have to wait that long, as the FYS party hits our fair isle in May. See below for details.

May
10 – Sheffield, Arena GIAN
11 – London, Earls Court GIAN
12 - Cardiff, Clwb Ifor Bach
13 - Manchester, Academy 3
14 - Liverpool, Barfly
15 - Glasgow, King Tut
16 - Newcastle, Academy 2
18 - Sheffield, Leadmill
19 - Birmingham, Academy 2
20 - Oxford, Zodiac
21 - Portsmouth, Wedgewood Rooms
22 - London, Islington Academy

And to see their insane crowed filled video for 'Heroes Get Remembered, Legends Never Die', below.

Out 12/05/08

Having just completed a very successful tour in support of the UK with City and Colour, we're delighted to announce that we'll be releasing the debut album 'Marriage' from Canada's hottest young band Attack In Black on 12/05/08. A mesmerising collection of countrified rock with hints of punk which belays their almost criminal youth, this album is packed full of tunes in the vein of Lucero or Against Me!'s more chilled out moments. And if you missed them on tour, don't fret too much, as we're working on bringing them back in the summer. Stay tuned!

To get an advance taste of the band and download the exclusive track 'Hunger Of The Young', simply click here. Believe us when we say it's worth it.

STOP PRESS!

We have just confirmed that we will be releasing the latest album by SAY ANYTHING on 23rd June. This is fantastic news as we're sure you'll agree, as 'In Defense Of The Genre' is a purely belter record. And even better, the band will be over for a brief run of dates in June. Check below for all the details:

June
4 - Newcastle Academy 2
5 - Glasgow King Tuts
7 - Manchester Academy 3
8 - Liverpool Academy 2
9 - Birmingham Barfly
10 - London KCLSU

Tickets available from GIGSANDTOURS.COM soon.
