In the ever growing world of music and PR it has never been more important to get placement for your band. At Altsounds.com we are very approachable when it comes to news and you can either submit your news item to us or post the news yourselves! Below I detail how you can ensure your latest news is getting featured on Altsounds.com

Submit News
Submitting news to us is SUPER easy. Just click HERE and then select "News Submission" as the type of Contact (so that it goes to the right person). And that's it! We can't guarantee that we will post your news but we do our best to post the news we feel our readers would be interested in seeing / hearing.

NOTE: We do reserve the right not to post your news items if we feel that it does not fit our audience etc.

Is that a joke? You can post reviews right? Well it's exactly the same exact instead you do it in the news section. Easiest way is to use the menu:
  • PRESS
  • NEWS then
  • SUBMIT NEWS
Simple as. This How To is more aimed at non members or PR people wanting to get their news featured on altsounds.

Haha no not for me, I meant for other people, non members and the like.

I was just pointing out that you state that "Below I detail how to do both so you can ensure your latest news is getting featured on Altsounds.com", but then only detail one. I thought it looked like an error.

By the way, I once submitted a few news stories but then heard nothing on them, and they weren't posted. One of them was about Oasis' tour. How come that didn't make it, it was pretty big news?

Oh I get it. I just edited that. The text used to be different you see as regular members used to be able to post news themselves.

Re: the news you submitted I responded to you on each asking you if you could post them yourself but you never did.

Really? That's odd because I don't think I ever received them, or if I did then I deleted them by mistake.

To be honest as the time I thought submitting them was my only option, because I intended to just post them myself.

Never mind, it's old news now
