Ok - I owe you lot! Sorry.. I haven't been in touch for a while - it's been mad hectic.
As you know since the start of April we've done about 20 gigs - the whole UK tour, which was amazing, mainly because we got to see so many of you and play out - the best thing about being a band.
King Tuts was a great start and Northampton a great finish. We had everything from cold driving rain to massively sweaty packed rooms full of singing people - dodgy food - hotels on ring roads - illness - hysteria on the bus and quite a bit of drunkenness and even some rock n roll in there...
We tried out new songs on you and I think the verdict was unanimous... time to make the second BB album! We should be going into the studio over the summer and have it ready for you by late Autumn. I'm excited - lots of new songs and some older ones that didn't make the first album..
Meanwhile, the single Stuttering (Kiss Me Again) is having a weird life of it's own! It's been tough getting the TV channels to play the video, because they like everything to be all spangly shiny and this one is home video quality - but the single is having a great time at radio. It took about 4 weeks for some of the big stations to start playing it but now they're hammering it! Capital and the whole group of stations across the country have found that people love the song and so we're on about 120 playlists. The more people hear it, apparently the more they like it..so watch out for the single and the Beta-Male Fairytales re-release rising up the iTunes charts again.Yesterday morning we were at number 1 on the Amazon.co.uk singles chart and 22 on the iTunes album charts.
Thanks for all your support - as always. We love you.
We had a quiet Bank Holiday weekend - I'd been writing songs for a week and then we all met up again in Paris to play a show. The gig was a massive success - a full house and a wonderful crowd..atmosphere - a right laugh and a great performance.
Keep in touch and send us your pictures...
Love and respect
