According to reports, Kurt Cobain's ashes have been stolen from Courtney Love's Los Angeles home. While it seems much more likely that she sold them for crack money, Courtney Love claims to be suicidal over the theft and a full investigation is underway. The ashes were said to have been kept in a "pink teddy bear-shaped bag along with a lock of his hair" and were taken with some jewellery and clothes.

No matter what actually happened or who took them, this story is seriously messed up.
