Tom Baxter is auctioning an original piece of artwork on eBay for charity.
Tom, a talented artist as well as musician, will be donating all the money raised to the Princes Trust. The auction will run on eBay from Sunday 1 June and it will close at 7pm on Sunday 8 June.
The painting, named “Together”, depicts holding hands on a gold background. Tom used a mixture of multimedia imagery, photography, gold and acrylic paints to create the image
Tom has previously auctioned his artwork to finance the recording of his critically acclaimed top 10 album “Skybound”.
Tom, an ambassador for the Prince’s Trust, says: “The Princes Trust is first and foremost a charity set up to encourage and provide opportunities/ possibilities and develop a sense of self worth in people. Many around us in day to day life are angry, lost, lonely, un-loved, un-educated, scared or dismissed and although many of us have felt those things at times, if you look around I’m sure you’ll find them in your very backyard.
My artwork is a symbol of togetherness and therefore seemed an appropriate piece of work to auction off to raise money for the Princes Trust.
I hope you can bid and help make a difference for someone.”
A spokesperson at The Prince’s Trust said: “We are delighted that Tom has decided to use one of his many talents to help change young lives. The Prince’s Trust needs £1 million every week to continue it work, so every pound bid will make a real difference to young people in this country.”
