After The Jump Fest '08 Wrap-Up: Over $3000 Raised!
June 28, 2008, 01:14 PM The streets of Williamsburg have finally cleared after the overwhelming success of this year’s After The Jump Fest. The first day of summer proved to be quite an amazing day filled with 15 straight hours of music, free ice cream, and fun in the sun. Referred to by Brooklyn Radio as a “proverbial spice cabinet,” After the Jump Fest 2008, the effort 20 New York City music bloggers to help new bands gain exposure, featured a multitude of bands at their best. Among the performers were Health, Titus Andronicus, and The Musebox’s own Bryan Scary & the Shredding Tears. And the best part? After the Jump Fest 2008 successfully raised more than $3,000 for Donors Choose and Education Through Music, charities that provide New York City schools with funding and programming.
