All day rock fest and fund-raising extravaganza Lexapalooza returns for its third year, and is even bigger AND better than before.
Taking place on Saturday 6th September 2008 at North London’s mecca of cool; Nambucca, Lexapalooza 2008 will host a wealth of eclectic artists performing across two stages from 1pm until late.

Punk/folk hero FRANK TURNER will return as master of ceremonies this year, spreading the Love, Ire and Song with a live set which promises to be something very special.

Other confirmed acts include:

The fast and furious thrash punk of ARMED RESPONSE UNIT ; “Shouty Folk” troubadour ADAM BOUCHER; up and coming singer-songwriter AL BAKER; the brilliant poetic electro-folk/rock of CHRIS T-T; Scottish riot folk from Dave Hughes; INME’s guitarist and vocalist turned solo artist DAVE MCPHERSON; the innovative stoner rock riff-ery of IN SEARCH OF APOLLO and the electronically tinted progressive post-rock of INERTIA BLOOMS. As well as all that inventive hard-rockers JEDETHAN; from the ashes of last year’s headliners Hinterland alt.rockers KILL CHAOS; the mind-bending harmony filled pop of KENNY LECKIE; hardcore thrash punk legends PALEHORSE; the sassy disco pop punk explosion of SCREAMING BALLERINAS; and electro alt. rockers SPECTRUM 7. The running order and further acts will be announced on the day.

There will also be exclusive event only merchandise available, and a very special raffle on the day.

All the proceeds go the charity, Breast Cancer Campain. Their mission is to beat breast cancer by funding innovative world-class research and to understand how breast cancer develops, leading to improved diagnosis, treatment, prevention and cure. Lexapalooza 2007 raised nearly £1400 for Breast Cancer Campaign with the help and support of 180 guests and and a very special secret appearance by friend of Lexaplooza, Sam Duckworth ( Get Cape . Wear Cape . Fly). We are hoping to shatter that record with this year’s event.
