Following his triumphantly sold out UK tour back in April and with a summer packed full with festival appearances ahead of him, Frank Turner continues on the road to superstardom with details of his biggest headline tour to date.

Frank released his second storming album ‘Love Ire &Song’ back in March and was the highest new entry at Number 5 in the Independent Chart. It’s an album that brings together the sounds and ethos of both folk and punk for powerful heartfelt laments, witty stories, catchy sing-a-longs and summer anthems such as current single ‘Reasons Not To Be An Idiot’. Lamacq’s Single Of The Week on 6Music, championed by Mike Davies and Zane Lowe on Radio 1, and playlisted on XFM ‘Reasons…’ is uplifting, inspiring and most importantly rocks face. At the rockier end of the folk spectrum, it illustrates Frank’s incredible song-writing ability and mass cross-over appeal.
And it’s this crossover appeal that not only seen Frank play 2 incendiary sets at this year’s Glastonbury but then to be perhaps the only artist confirmed for both the prestigious Cambridge Folk Festival and the punk Lock-Up Stage at Reading and Leeds.
Frank and his band have developed into a formidable live force performing passionate and intense shows. Come and watch a star on the rise.
