TRAPT - "Only Through The Pain" (Aug 5)
TRAPT’S FIRST SINGLE “WHO’S GOING HOME WITH YOU TONIGHT” DEBUTS ON Xbox LIVE WITH GREAT FANFARE VIA WORLD VIDEO PREMIERE

FREE VIDEO DOWNLOAD IS AVAILABLE Throughout The Month; ONLY THROUGH THE PAIN, TO BE RELEASED AUGUST 5, 2008

Los Angeles, CA – June 11, 2008 – In support of their new single “Who’s Going Home With You Tonight,” which impacted radio this week, multi-platinum rockers TRAPT ("Headstrong," "Stillframe," "Stand Up") premiered a new music video for the song as a free download on Xbox LIVE for the month of June. "Exposing our new music while debuting our new video on Xbox LIVE is the perfect balance of music meets entertainment. It fits our lifestyle as a band," says Chris Taylor Brown (lead vocals/guitar). The video can be accessed for the rest of the month by visiting: Xbox.com | Xbox LIVE Marketplace - Music Showcase: Trapt

“Who’s Going Home With You Tonight” (from the upcoming Only Through The Pain due everywhere on August 5, 2008), was directed by Paul Brown (Mötley Crüe, Marilyn Manson) and features lead vocalist Chris Taylor Brown telling the tale of a cheating girlfriend from his own perspective by exposing his cheating ex with three different men. It’s a raw and unique male perspective on romance, relationships, and the nuances in between, keeping Trapt’s rock edge while displaying the captivating songwriting sensibilities which have led to over 2 million albums sold since the band’s inception.

As an exciting twist, three “trailers” for “Who’s Going Home With You Tonight,” have been created, offering a back-story to the actual music video. These clips have caused a literal viral sensation amongst fans of the band. Each trailer showcases a different, torrid affair that has been a web of deceit spun by the video’s starring character, which the band cast especially for the role. Fans have been left wondering just how personal this video is, and responded accordingly via TRAPT’s new social networking site: Only Through The Pain

With the Xbox LIVE debut now part of history, Trapt are currently preparing for the launch of the Crüe Fest tour, on which they will share the bill with Mötley Crüe, Buckcherry, Papa Roach and Sixx:A.M. The 40-plus-city tour kicks off on July 1, 2008. Nikki Sixx, President of Trapt’s label, Eleven Seven Music, handpicked them to join the tour.

All of this activity has the 4-piece band poised and ready for the release their third studio album since their highly successful 2002 self-titled debut, which included Billboard’s #1 US Modern Rock & #1 US Mainstream Rock single, “Headstrong.” That album made such an impact on the current modern rock atmosphere that the songs continue to permeate North American airwaves today. As such, TRAPT returned to the studio to create an album that appreciates the guiding principles of modern rock, but also tests the boundaries of what that actually means in 2008.

With Only Through The Pain, Trapt have clearly succeeded.
