Village People policeman, Victor Willis, is currently in the hospital recovering from vocal chord surgery. He sang and co-wrote their biggest hits, 'Y-M-C-A' and 'Macho Man,' but left the group in 1980. The solo artist was forced to cancel European and Canadian concert dates earlier this year because of throat problems and had to undergo surgery to remove nodules from his vocal chords.
He seems to be recovering nicely and said he will reschedule his tour dates.
