CHROMEO TO PREMIERE NEW VIDEO ON MTV’S NEW FRIDAY NIGHT MUSIC SERIES
 

“FNMTV PREMIERES” TO DEBUT “MOMMA’S BOY” ON FRIDAY, JULY 25th @ 8PM ET/PT

Building on the current success of Fancy Footwork: Deluxe Edition, a recent performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and last year’s inclusion on MTV’s 52/52 program, Chromeo will reveal the highly anticipated video for “Momma’s Boy,” the fourth video from Fancy Footwork, July 25th on FNMTV Premieres at 8pm ET/PT.

Hosted by Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy, FNMTV Premieres debuts 4 of the hottest new videos each week and invites the artists themselves on the show to introduce their video. This week, Chromeo will join the ranks of artists such as Snoop Dogg, Vampire Weekend, and T.I, who have all been featured on the show to date. The video will also receive a massive blast of exposure in its first week, as well as airtime on other MTV channels (MTV2/U/Hits/Jams).

Directed and illustrated by acclaimed French artist Stephane Manel, “Momma’s Boy” presents Chromeo’s Oedipal-themed love ballad in sleek and surreal black and white animation. Dave & Pee do their best “Piano Man” references, take their girl to the movies, and finish with a dual psychedelic guitar solo that makes this beautiful video a must-see. Stephane Manel is also known for his design work for Serge Gainsbourg and Sebastien Tellier, among others.
