Skip School, Start Fights (Triple Crown, July 8th) debuted at #97 on Billboard's Top 200. It's the follow up to 2006's buzzworthy This Is A Stickup...Don't Make It A Murder which put Hit The Lights on the map and saw them tour with New Found Glory, Paramore, Cute Is What We Aim For, Cartel and Boys Like Girls. Skip School, Start Fights was produced by Rob Freeman (Hidden In Plain View) at Pilot Studios in New Jersey and mixed by Zach Odom and Kenneth Mount (Mayday Parade, All Time Low, Cartel).
The first Hit The Lights single is "Stay Out" and you watch the "Making Of The Video" Parts 1 & 2 on Triple Crown Records in the TCR-TV section here: Triple Crown Records - Hit The Lights will be on the road all summer first on a Headlining Run and then with Motion City Soundtrack/Chiodos and then a big fall tour with Cobra Starship/Forever The Sickest Kids.
