Though the mythology behind the name has long since been lost, the significance has yet to subside. In fact, it appears that as time slowly and painstakingly progresses minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day, it's gathering further importance.
Fast rising Glasgow rockers, Twin Atlantic, follow up their well received ‘A Guidance From Colour’ EP, self-released earlier this year, with a brand new single in the shape of ‘What Is Light? Where Is Laughter?’.
Having created quite the buzz with the aforementioned EP, a showstopping performance at T In The Park, as well as support slots alongside The Smashing Pumpkins, Biffy Clyro, Funeral For A Friend and Oceansize, ‘What Is Light? What Is Laughter?’ perfectly showcases just why you simply cannot ignore the Scottish quartet.
As frontman, Sam McTrusty, explains “'What Is Light? Where Is Laughter?' is a song written from a naive point of view, a childs perspective almost. Its about asking questions which might not necessarily give you the right answer, but at least you can say you strived to be who you think you really are.”
