GAMIQ AWARD NOMINATION FOR EMPIRE ISIS 10TH AWARD NOMINATION OF 2008

Announced on August 6th, by GAMIQ (The Quebec Indie Music Awards) Empire ISIS is nominated for World Album of the Year. This is Empire ISIS' 10th nomination for 2008. Last week she went on to win "Best Out of Province Artist" at the Toronto Independent Music Awards. In addition, Empire ISIS will be traveling to New York City August 10th for her Underground Urban Music Award Nomination for Best International Artist of the Year.

Along with Empire ISIS' GAMIQ nomination, she will be performing at the awards which will take place on Sunday September 21st at the Corona Theatre in Montreal. Empire ISIS will also be part of the GAMIQ Tour, presented by YARIS and BANG BANG Magazine. The tour will stop in Quebec City, Chicoutimi, Joliette & Montreal and will feature Empire ISIS, Gatineau, Misteur Valaire, Lesbo Vrouven, Millimetrik, Les Psycho Riders, Maitre J & Payz Play On Board.

The Quebec Indie Music Awards (GAMIQ) is an awards show that recognizes achievements by Quebec independent artists The event is produced by the Quebec Indepedent Music Association which also produces the Montreal International Music Intiative (MIMI).
