“2008 MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS”

Santa Monica, CA (August 14, 2008) –– Kid Rock is returning to the VMA’s for more crazy and unforgettable moments! MTV has confirmed the badass will perform his monster summer hit “All Summer Long” off his latest album Rock N Roll Jesus, which has been on the Billboard Top 200 for the past 45 weeks since it debuted at #1 and is currently sitting in the top 5. Lil Wayne and the Jonas Brothers have already been added to the list of powerhouse performers at this year’s show. As previously announced, MTV’s 25th annual Video Music Awards will be hosted by comedian/actor Russell Brand and will air live and only one time in its original incarnation, on Sunday, September 7, 2008 at 9PM SHARP (Live ET/Tape Delayed PT). Presenters and additional performers for the “2008 Video Music Awards” will be announced at a later date.

This year, one lucky viewer will get the chance of a lifetime trip by joining “Do Good.
