From the abyss of the Impending Doom camp comes news of their brand new album. Today the band reveals that they will title their new release “The Serpent Servant”. This sophomore release will be available on March 31st through Facedown Records. The band is currently writing and will be recording in later this month through December with Tim Lambesis and Daniel Castleman (As I Lay Dying, War Of Ages, Winds Of Plague) at Lambesis Studios in San Diego. The album will then be mixed and mastered by Zeuss (Hatebreed, Shadows Fall, Terror).

In anticipation of the release of his debut LP, Don’t Think Less of Me, via Universal Motown in early 2009, artist/producer Colin Munroe has put the finishing touches on a 14-track mixtape, Colin Munroe is the Unsung Hero, slated for digital release on December 1, 2008.
Produced in partnership with Sickamore & The Famous Firm, the mixtape was crafted over a two-month period in Dallas Austin’s Atlanta-based recording studio, the project includes appearances by Wale, Mickey Factz, Joell Ortiz, Blaqstarr and Skyzoo and showcases Colin’s wide-ranging influences, from a revox of Bob Dylan’s “Who Killed Davey Moore” to a remake of Q-Tip’s J-Dilla-produced “Fever”. The album was self-produced by Trucks and recorded in his Jacksonville, Florida home studio. Riotous UK Punk stars Gallows have teamed up with old friends Atticus Clothing for two very special pre-christmas shows that will see them invade the East End of London and no doubt leave a trail of carnage in their wake!
The band have been busy in the studio getting together their new album, but they will be taking a break at the start of December to give a lucky few a sneak preview of tracks from the album.
The band will play at The Macbeth on the 1st of Dec, and then at the Old Blue Last the following night on the 2nd. This will be the first time that fans get to hear many of the tracks that the band have been recording for their second album, due April 2009, and the only chance for people to see the band live until they head out to tour the album.

This Good Night Is Still Everywhere out November 18 on Vagrant
Dustin Kensrue announces his first holiday music release, This Good Night Is Still Everywhere (Vagrant). The acoustic ten-track set includes 8 covers plus 2 original tracks and will be available at all digital retailers on November 18, 2008.
Southern California-based Kensrue released his debut solo effort, Please Come Home in 2007 and recently finished work on the new recording while on the road in his role as vocalist and guitarist for Thrice. This Good Night Is Still Everywhere was produced by Kensrue and mixed by Thrice guitarist Teppei Teranishi.
"I've been wanting to do a Christmas record since before I even thought about putting Please Come Home together,” says Kensrue. “I’ve always loved Christmas songs and searching out different versions of my favorite songs, so it was about time to try my hand at it."
