In twelve short months The Metros have gone from nothing to selling out headline tours across the country, cementing themselves as one of the best bands on the underage circuit, over 500,000 views of their My Space site, and bagging the coveted spot on the MTV Spanking new music tour. Following the success and great demand of the last tour the band will embark on another headline tour in May, including a slot at the Camden Crawl and a date supporting Madness at the Royal Albert Hall for The Teenage Cancer Trust.
The Lippy Peckham upstarts will release single ‘Last of The Lookers’ through 1965 Records on 2nd June. Produced by Baxter Dury, the single includes B-sides Education Pt. 1 and a collaboration with fellow 1965 artist Toddla T ‘Clubhouse Riddim’.

Titled - When I Return To The World
Lorraine return on 19th May with a brand new single through Waterfall Records UK. 'When I Return To The World' is a standout moment from the band's live set, and has been going down a storm at recent shows in the band's native Norway.
The single is backed with a brand new track 'Beyond Sky', plus a remix package from current club darlings The Camel Rider and Manhattan Clique. It will be released on strictly limited white vinyl 7" and digitally. Belgium’s The Black Box Revelation will impact on U.S. shores this summer with its first US tour and the release of its raw and blistering debut full-length Set Your Head On Fire. The album was produced by Triggerfinger drummer Mario Goossens and mixed by Greg Gordon (Wolfmother, Jet, Soulwax.)

In an unprecedented move, FEARnet, the world's premier destination for horror film enthusiasts, is set to become the exclusive host of the director's cut of the infamous Coheed and Cambria video for their current single, "Feathers," today, May 21. The Hitchcockian black and white video, is a dark comedy, directed by Marc Klasfeld (Gnarls Barkley, Foo Fighters, Bloodhound Gang) and focuses on a "perfect" 1950s American family who have a very naughty secret. "Feathers" stars Rena Riffel, known for her roles in "Mulholland Drive" and "Dante's Cove," as the cheerful stay-at-home mom ala "Ozzie and Harriet," but this mom has more than a conniving grin. Reminiscent of the works of David Lynch and John Waters, what appears normal on the surface is not quite so when you take a closer look. Klasfeld's cut contains mildly graphic scenes that were not in the MTV version of the video.

Tu Fawning is the new project of Joe Haege and Corrina Repp. Both Haege and Repp have been playing in Portland and abroad for many years now. However, a mutual desire to achieve something outside the bounds of their other projects, 31knots (Haege) and Corrina Repp (Repp), lead both of them to begin collaboration on each other's albums last year. One look at the liner notes finds Haege all over Corrina Repp's 2006 Caldo Verde release, The Absent and The Distant. Then the roles reverse as Repp appeared on 31knots' EP:Polemics (2006, Polyvinyl)and The Days and Nights Of Everything Anywhere (Polyvinyl, 2006).
Haege has also served as Repp's backing "band" for tours they have done with Mark Kozelek and Norfolk and Western, playing drums, piano, samples and singing.
