Decaydance/Fueled By Ramen recording group THE CAB made an incredible sales debut this week, with their much-anticipated first album, " WHISPER WAR," entering in the #1 spot on SoundScan’s "Top New Artists" chart. “WHISPER WAR” was recorded late last year with Matt Squire (Cute Is What We Aim For, All Time Low) producing and additional production by Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy). The album expertly melds The Cab’s avowed love for the soulful pop stylings of Justin Timberlake and Michael Jackson, with a punk and rock ‘n’ roll sensibility informed by such bands as Blink-182 and Jimmy Eat World .

'3' is the cracking new single from Grimsby's finest, The Brightlights. Produced by Steve Power - best known for producing all of Robbie Williams' (good) albums - it's full of teenage angst and emotion whose subject matter is girls who take advantage of any and every situation in a relationship (you know who you are). Intricately driven licks and heart rendering drums highlight singer Leon Blanchard's startlingly magnetic voice that sounds like a sonic marriage between Kelly Jones and Caleb Followill. The single also features 'Another Night', a rousing anthem detailing that age old dilemma - mates versus girlfriend and the consequences of both - that twists and turns and builds to an emotionally driven climax.

Disturbed have just unveiled their video for “Inside the Fire,” the first single from the forthcoming, Indestructible, which hits stores June 3rd. The video was directed by Nathan “Karma” Cox who has also helmed videos for Bleeding Through and HIM among others.
Both the lyrics of “Inside the Fire” as well as the video’s storyline tell the real life tale of a suicide that personally affected Disturbed vocalist, David Draiman. Knowing the pain and sensitive nature of the subject Draiman precedes the video with a public service announcement for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.

The Great Bloomers formed when childhood pals Lowell Sostomi and Nate Hindle, moved to Toronto and met Andrew Kekewich. The trio quickly formed a strong friendship based upon similar record collections— all three valued essential works from The Band, Fleetwood Mac, and Springsteen. Soon after the three began sharing a house, and started writing and recording music together.
After playing its first show, the band realized that it wanted to be on the road—thriving on loud crowds and live rooms. The urgency to play as many live gigs as possible, coupled with Lowell's songwriting brilliance, put the band on the fast track.
