That's right, the bespectacled, wiry one – Jarvis Cocker – will be in the virtual Bowery Ballroom for a Q&A session. Despite being less than two months into their planned writing / recording routine, cabin fever (or, rather, 'bungalow fever') has hit the Enter Shikari camp.
To give the St Albans quartet a light at the end of the tunnel, they've decided its time they had a month in a van to look forward to just as winter will be setting in.
The tour bypasses many of the usual touring band stop offs, and instead takes in several cities and towns that the band hasn't seen for a couple of years.

How is it Monday?
My weekend went far too quickly, but I went to see the Love Music Hate Racism festival yesterday which was great, save the police shutting down the dance tent.
Still, I saw Damon Albarn and as a fanboy of his that was a lot of fun. So, onto the work stuff – I’ve got a new Atmosphere viral for you to check out.

Ministry head honcho Al Jourgensen recently sat down for a lengthy video interview with MP3.com. Filmed in Al’s hotel room on the eve of the band’s final performance in San Francisco, the chat centers on the end of Jourgensen’s long-running band, and what, exactly, he plans to fill his time with post-Ministry. Aside from a cameo from Al’s dogs, Ozzy and Lemmy, the interview features some typically candid Bush bashing, and plenty of discussion about Jourgensen and company’s recently released Cover Up collection, and the forthcoming Revolting Cocks record.

Add Bryan Scary and The Shredding Tears to the list of bands victimized by van theft. The band’s van (which included trailer, gear, and merch) was stolen in Los Angeles this week. Among the items stolen were Bryan Bauer's 42-year-old drum kit which had preciously belonged to his late grandfather, a Hammond M-3 organ, and vintage Moog. Also stolen was all of the band’s equipment and personal belongings. The band is accepting donations via Pay Pal. Insurance will cover the van, but not the trailer or any of the instruments or merch.

Hello Friends,
Tragedy has struck Bryan Scary & The Shredding Tears. Our van, trailer, and all of our instruments were stolen the other night in Los Angeles. The band is stuck in L.A., and we're in desperate need of your help.
Among the stolen instruments was my 42-year-old drum set. My grandfather passed-away before I had a chance to meet him, but he played on that kit. Needless to say, I'm devastated. |
