The six part series is explained best by the band themselves, “Our Hero, known as The Bastard, is a living embodiment of metal music. We pit him against a robotic legion whose influence spans all of time and space. The song speaks to the urge in everyone to rage and rock out against all outside expectations. It is a call to arms against a mundane existence, and the Bastard is always there to answer in force, slaughtering the robot conformist authority for the sake of youth, rebellion, and the undying spirit of true metal.”

Just in time for Halloween comes O'Death's new video for "Lowtide" being premiered exclusively on Pitchfork TV. The dark and downright spooky clip was directed by Benh Zeitlin, who won the Wholphin Award at SXSW for Best Short Film. Zeitlin used stop motion animation, taking the entire band on a journey to the center of the earth.

Band Touring with Creation Festival: The Tour Original Song Featured on New "X Christmas"
After a stellar debut from Tooth & Nail's Capital Lights, which charted on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart at No. 51 as well as debuted at No. 27 on the iTunes Rock Chart, the band is back with their music video debut on Purevolume.com. The music video for "Outrage" from the band's summer debut, This Is An Outrage, is currently being featured on the homepage of the music discovery site Purevolume.com.
This strong debut CD was said to be "nearly flawless in its aim and execution," "ridiculously catchy," and an "extremely powerful debut" marking Capital Lights as "one of the more promising new bands in 2008."
The band performed across the nation this summer at festivals leading into their current touring gig with Creation Festival: The Tour, which features nine bands for a "festival on wheels." Elisa is one of 11 "bad girl" female contestants on Fuse's new Chris Jericho-hosted reality show "Redemption Song." South Pacific soul monster Fat Freddy's Drop will release their new single "Pull The Catch" on 1 December 2008 through Kartel. A sunny, reggae-infused taster of things to come "Pull The Catch" is idiosyncratic FFD, which draws on the band's unique lifestyle and laidback outlook on life. Much like "Cay's Crays", from their award winning debut album "B.O.A.T.S.", "Pull The Catch" was born out of a fishing trip in their idyllic setting of New Zealand's South Island. A spot of pre-dawn fishing, with vocalist Dallas, and his uncle led to the group returning from their trip singing an almost fully formed song, which was recorded immediately in their conveniently placed beachside studio.

Alternative-rock pranksters LUSTRA have premiered their new video for "Scotty Doesn't Know (The Second Coming)" from upcoming album What You Need & What You Get on their MySpace. The video, set to the track of one of the band's most beloved songs, is pure LUSTRA, indicative of the band's distinctively naughty sense of humor.
