The accolades keep flooding in for the full-length debut from Syracuse, New York’s Ra Ra Riot. Earlier this month, Rolling Stone dropped them on their list of Six Artists to Watch in 2008, while awarding the record an impressive 4 out of 5 stars. Likewise, Entertainment Weekly, Pitchfork, The New York Times, and nearly the entire critical community have come out in support of The Rhumb Line, the long-playing follow-up to the band’s 2007 self-titled EP. Riding this overwhelming wave of praise, Ra Ra Riot recently announced an appearance on Late Night With Conan O’Brien set to broadcast on September 2nd.

In celebration of the album’s release, the band recently recorded a handful of live performances in an attic in upstate New York. MOTHER MOTHER COMPLETES NEW VIDEO, ANNOUNCES U.S. TOUR DATES

New York, NY, August 26 – Mother Mother is gearing up for the September 16th release of their second album O My Heart, and has just completed a video for the title track. Telepathique Join The Infamous Tricky On U.S. "Knowle West Boy" Tour "Stateside ears are no stranger to dance tunes spouting from Brazil -- CSS and Bonde do Role have already put the country on the indie-minded map. But Telepathique, a duo calling the same nation home, certainly bring a whole new sound to the dance floor." - SPIN

Although their story is probably new to most North Americans, both Theobaldo and Pires have long been accomplished in their own rights overseas, with and outside of their work in Telepathique. Pires’ solo work as a vocalist is steeped in African and Brazilian music traditions, and Theobaldos remix of “Dadinho” on the ‘City Of God” soundtrack became a smash hit (he also produced Brazilian artists Otto and BiD, to wide acclaim.) DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE - NOVEMBER TOUR DATES & SINGLE

NEW SINGLE: ‘NO SUNLIGHT’

Death Cab for Cutie have announced a UK tour for November which kicks off in Belfast on November 12, and includes a date at London’s Alexandra Palace on November 19. The tour coincides with the release of ‘No Sunlight’ on November 17 (Digital November 10), the third single to be taken from Death Cab for Cutie’s stunning sixth album Narrow Stairs. The album, which was released in May, entered the UK chart in the Top 25 - the first time the band has broken the UK Top 40 - and debuted at number 1 in the US.

Produced by the band’s own Chris Walla (who has produced for The Decemberists and Tegan & Sara), Narrow Stairs is shaping up as Death Cab’s most-praised work to date. NME wrote "Narrow Stairs' is more challenging, uncompromising and brilliant than any number one US album since Radiohead turned boring’, whilst The Fly said ‘Death Cab prove themselves masters of the bigger picture…magnificent’, and Uncut declared that ‘the LP extends the soundscape to IMAX proportions’.
