Stone Temple Pilots are currently being sued by their label home Atlantic Records over a record that hasn't even been made yet. Scott Weiland and drummer Eric Kretz had been rubbing labels the wrong way by publicly and privately saying they do not want to release under the Warner Music Group until some serious changes are made. They have not recorded an album together in 5 years and while they seem excited to get started, they have some demands. The label has responded through filing papers. Is STP being sued into silence? Absolutely not. The label is actually demanding they release more albums under the label.

Under One Sky is an hour-long vocal and instrumental suite by the Scottish multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer John McCusker, performed by a dozen of Britain’s finest musicians including Roddy Woomble and Graham Coxon.
Originally a joint commission by the PRS Foundation, the Scottish Arts Council and the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, Under One Sky sets out to explore and interweave the many different traditions, genres and influences at work across today’s dynamic UK folk scene.
