BAND HITS THE ROAD THIS SUMMER ON VANS WARPED TOUR
Southern California post hardcoreoutfit Confide is all about winning over fans and making friends. Armed with the goods to enthrall the masses, i.e. aggressive, bone-crushing vocals infused with chugging guitar riffs and eloquent lyrics, the band will take their songs on the road this summer on the Vans Warped Tour where they will pummel the Smartpunk Stage on a daily basis.

“We want to let the kids know that we love them,” singer/guitarist Ross Kenyon explains. “The only reason we play shows is to meet them and become their friend. We want to encourage and be there for them, however and whenever we can. That’s the whole point of this band and this project, to be there for people.”
Working with producer Cameron Webb (Pennywise, Silverstein, 30 Seconds To Mars) at Hurley Studio in Orange County, Calif., the songs on Shout The Truth were inspired by Kenyon’s hopeful outlook.

Claudio Sanchez, the mastermind behind the rock band Coheed and Cambria, has debuted a new comic strip, called KILL AUDIO, on Myspace. The first four mini-issues in the series will also be included in Image Comics' collaborative graphic novel, PopGun, this summer.
"I really wanted the strip to be a fun read," admitted Sanchez, "so I decided to tie some elements of music and pop culture into a more satirical story than I've done in the past."

In the last two years New Jersey's The Gaslight Anthem have accomplished more than most bands have in 10. PERFORMING ON THE TONIGHT SHOW
Ed Harcourt is poised to release his fifth studio album, The Beautiful Lie, in the US on June 3rd via Dovecote Records. The British Mercury Prize nominee recorded the bulk of the album on an eight-track in his grandmother's house in Sussex - the rest done in East London's Toe Tag studios, where The White Stripes recorded Elephant. Graham Coxon (Blur) lended his guitar for "Visit From A Dead Dog", BJ Cole's pedal steel makes appearances on various tracks and The Magic Numbers performed backing vocals on "Revolution In The Heart".
In addition to the new album, Ed will be performing on The Tonight Show on June 6th.
