Metal Hammer Golden God

So I caught the Metal Hammer awards last night....what can I say. A SHAM!

Lostprophets best uk band? NO
My chemical Romance best video? NO

If I'm not mistaken METAL Hammer awards, need to go to METAL bands. Those two are most definately not. There was another shitty band that performed and got something too, and they were emo as fuck aswell.

I was appauled by the way the presenter handled the Dime award. He obviously wasn't a metal fan and didn't know who the fuck Dime was and for me didn't treat him or the award with enough respect. At least Herman Li from Dragonforce won it, not some shitty guitar playing wank from an emo/indie band.

Yes rant over, I think. What are your thoughts on a metal meg giving away important awards to bands that arent metal?

It's ignorant! simply stated. haa! An industry full of monopoly from major labels buying their artists to the top and miscatagorizing style to try and fool people. It's an embarrassment to what is really metal and confusing to the fresh youth just wanting to hear the good stuff and be enlightened.

How dare they make a mockery of Metal with trying to slip emo bands into the genre, please mother fuckers c'mon!

Slipknot got best live band *shakes head* I may as well just put on a black hoodie and call myself a goth, in other words give up! haha. Obviously the legions of all those little teenie bopper mini metaller woo we're rebels kids are taking over. DAMN THEM TO HELL!
