Hard Core Troubadours Tour - Fall 2005 Deadline: Aug 10, 2005 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time 4 Artists, 1 Dotted Line, Nothin' to Lose . . . The Hard Core Troubadours Tour, in its 3rd season, has become one of the most successful DIY tours with no label support. Independent singer-songwriters tour the eastern seaboard and the Midwest. The tour will hit 10 US cities starting in September 2005. The Hard Core Troubadours book their own shows, handle their own publicity and hook up a network of like-minded artists interested in DIY music. Although they have distinctive styles and influences, they come together for one goal -- to hit the asphalt. The Hard Core Troubadours was a collective started by Mike Borgia and Ben Ratliff with the goal of enabling independent and proactive songwriters and musicians to book their own shows, handle their own publicity and hit the road. Tentative fall tour route will go to the following states: NY, MA, PA, VA, NC, TN, IN, KY, IL and OH. There are two slots reserved for Sonicbids members. All genres accepted. Selected artist(s) must have a CD to sell on the tour. Please note: Lodging is the responsibility of the artist. There are some travel expenses covered, possibly all, but no guarantees. Mike, is it possible to hook up with this tour just in areas surrounding us, or is it required to do all the dates? Our Zippo thing will be during September, so we wouldn't be able to do the whole thing, but the Chapel Hill, Greensboro, Atlanta, Nashville run would be possible.

hmm as we are looking for locals in each city it may be possible Im still working out the details to secure the dates and since we are focusing on more midwest, the east coast dates are limited. If we can get whta we want in VA, NC TN area GA then as long as the booker at the club is ok with yes. Plus since two of the bands are coming from the far west Bowman and I are planning to do the southest dates without them so maybe we can at Hybrid. my number is *DONT PUT YOUR PHONE NUMBER ON THE INTERNET* we can chat about it soon. Im working on PR for this as well.

Mike, you'll have to privately reply the phone number or just email it to me at spirerecords@charter.net and we'll hook up on it once you have confirmed dates. Of course, if we don't advance on Zippo, then this is a moot point, but with costs for travel and accommodations, we'd rather stay within a 6 hour radius right now.
