MGMT - Electric Feel (Justice Remix) [Single]
 

Originally available as the second track on MGMT's July 2008 CD release of their number 22 single 'Electric Feel', this track deserves more credit than it is given.

With all due respect and consideration for the popularity and current rise in interest in the New York band (especially after a 'summer' of festival appearances), the remix sounds a lot fresher, more skillfully produced and overall punchier than the original version of Electric Feel that features on the 2007 album 'Oracular Spectacular'.

That is of course, because it has been touched upon by the golden hands of Justice. This Parisian elektro outfit can do no wrong in many people's eyes, and this track is simply a testament to that viewpoint. 'Electric Feel' is a textbook remix; in that not only does it manage to maintain the feel of the original versdion by MGMT, but Justice have also managed to take it somewhere new, upon firmly putting their own stamp upon it and making it easily recognisable as their work.

The marriage of acid-funk basslines and 80's dancefloor vibes is a sure fire hit to be a big one in the clubs, so polish up your dancing shoes for this one. Justice strikes again.
