The second release from The Modfather's latest album '22 Dreams' (which only by the way, features 21 tracks, as Weller believes that 'you should keep one dream for yourself' - yuck) is a double A side of two pretty generic Paul Weller tracks.

The now veteran musician's fairly unique sound is easily recognisable on both, and is bound to please long time Weller fans. Unfortunately though, these tracks aren't special enough to convert non believers, as they just do not sound too different to anything that we have ever heard before.

Of the two tracks on this single, 'Push It Along' offers the more interesting listen; it is well layered and considerably less predictable than 'All I Wanna Do (Is Be With You)' although upon listening to both, you can't help but to assume that the leading track will be embraced more by the mediums of radio and TV as it's just a lot more vanilla and appeals to the millions of people in this country who don't have opinions or an ear for something different.

The same applies to bonus track 'Big Brass Buttons', which was co-written with Bobby Gillespie, as this track is incredibly different to the others and is therefore by far, the best work on this release. Perhaps its the influence of Gillespie that has caused this, although either way, it will undoubtedly be cast aside and forgotten until Paul Weller decides to release a B-Sides collection when he fancies a new car.
