So Chris, what are your thoughts on the guitarist then?

And I wonder why they don't want anything to do with this site? I lay awake at night, every night pondering this fact, hoping and pleading that some day they will want something to do with us. Muwahahaha.

I'm just responding and posting observations on another's (i.e. your) thread. Why do so many people these days take such offence to musical opinion? You blatantly love this band, I'm not personally a fan (the deal was sealed when I saw them years ago in Penallta Rugby Club doing a cover of Kelly Clarkson) so every "I love you" comment you give, I and others might give a "these are shit" comment back. Trust it happens to bigger, better and more established bands than these.

We're not here to make friends, we're here to advise on music and we do this in a free speech environment. If that was not the case I would just have removed your thread in the beginning. There is a plethora of music out there and an even wider range of musical taste and we wish to highlight ALL of that. If you don't want to risk someone disliking or commenting then DON'T POST a review.

I support Man Utd. You supprt Man City. Who gives a fuck? Does that mean we can't be friends?

I think there's still a bug in this thread cause it keeps posting. If this is still happening in the morning I might need to do some sort of deletion to this so it can be re-opened.

Lets see what happens.

I totally don't mind people not liking them, but I just thought your comment was a bit nasty about the guitarist, considering it wasn't actually about their music and more about him personally. That's all. Most of the comments on this review have not actually been about the music, more about the band being posers and so on, which a) has nothing to do with my review of their album, and b) isn't even that true if you compare them to other bands (in their genre and not in their genre).

But yes, you don't like them, I do like them, we can still all get along though.

Wasn't personal at all. Was a performance observation as I'm sure the other comments have been. I don't think anyone commenting here actually knows any of these guys personally so it would never get to personal comments. All the comments I have read have been about what people have seen about this band through their various audio visual endeavours. Watch back one of their videos and you must agree with me if even a little bit. It's kind of like putting one Cheese and Onion crisp in a pack of Salt and Vinegar. You could still eat it but you would wonder what was happening while you ate it.

Seems the original thing about the guitarist Lina and I were talking about got deleted in my thread move due to it posting this comment a GAZILLION times. As it's gone here it is again for everyone:

Quote:

The funniest for me is the guitarist that is playing pop music monging about
like he is a metal band. He's like Shane was in Boyzone. Trying to be rock
and roll whilst playing pop music. Now before you wonder why I
know so much about Boyzone I just Googled it to find out which one thought
he was ROCK!

HAHAHA, ah poor guitarist Iain.

Do you think, crazy an idea as it is, that they possibly chose him 'cause he was the most talented? Despite him being cheese and onion when they are salt and vinegar physically.

Don't they have two guitarists? If so then you must agree slightly because you knew who I was talking about! I wasn't talking about physical appearance when I was mentioning salt and vinegar, I was more discussing stage/music video moves and how from a performance perspective they visually fit in the band. An example is in this video IMO:

They probably did pick him because he was the most talented and his talent isn't at question here. In fact nothings at question here. I am merely commenting that I find it weird in videos when I see him going so over the top and the music does not match the emotion he is interjecting. But hey, again, it's got people talking so WTF huh?

Isn't that the point at the end of the day? To perform and get people talking about you? Well that's certainly happening in this review! Roll on the AS$$
