There's a young world growing behind my back and I'm slowly beginning to realize it.

The View are four Scottish boys in their very early 20s are part of this new youth scene, and the more they are talented [as is the case here] the more I am jealous, I must admit. I cannot deny I am also thankful to see talent is still around and is becoming more apparent even at such young ages.

5 Rebecca's is the first single to come out from what will be The View's sophomore album [out early next year] which will be ready to entertain us for a few months after it's release. 5 Rebecca's is a very guitar driven song. Pleasant chord sequences work excellently when filled with Kyle Falconer's energetic voice. You can tell they're from Dundee from his lovely, unmistakable Scottish accent which is unusually present even in his singing voice.

I think The View are right now the quintessential guitar band, maybe even worshipped a little too much? What people need these days is energy, and The View are full of it. 5 Rebecca's sounds fresh. I think it would have rocked out more if it had been a summer single The View could have played at festivals.

I believe in the "loop-rule", instead of recommending it or not, I will just tell you this:

"5 Rebecca's has made it to [and still stays] on my iPod even after I finished this review. This is a rare thing to happen for me so you can make your conclusions as you wish."
