Need To Breathe - The Heat [Album] Atlantic records - Need To Breathe- fronted by brothers 'Bear' and 'Bo' Rinehart are an American 'radio' rock band which I would absolutely love to hate. Their sound is reminiscent of Bryan Adams or Bon Jovi rocking an acoustic set, and their campfire swing is so close to sickly its almost dangerous. Somehow Need To Breathe manage to keep it on the listenable side mainly due to the slick, polished production. I can imagine tracks 'Restless' and 'Streets of Gold' succeeding on US radio but they just aren't edgy enough to make much of an impact on this side of the pond. Need To Breathe could have blown up in '93 but The Heat comes about 15 years too late to become a classic. Overall listenable but nothing exciting. http://www.myspace.com/needtobreathe |
Re: NEEDTOBREATHE - THE HEAT [ALBUM] The band are actually called NEEDTOBREATHE, it's the album that is called The Heat. I think your short reviews have been OK for the two EP's you covered, but an album needs more than this in future please. Don't keep making me feel like a ballbreaker (that's MTA). Cheers again benchente. |
Re: NEEDTOBREATHE - THE HEAT [ALBUM] I agree. I only just started reading and it was over. Although his nugget paragraphs were great it was like eating the rib of a pig that had been starved for 3 months. |
Re: NEEDTOBREATHE - THE HEAT [ALBUM] Yeah that's the thing, the content was good, just not enough of it. Keep up the good work benchente, just work longer hours ; ) |
