Diffusion Records - Out 1st Dec
Fast, dreary, punky but not quite, its organised punk. The Front could be the Arctic Monkeys, not a bad thing, not a bad thing at all, that is unless as a band you want to sound like yourselves.
Structured, resolved, understood, point taken. I know I will forget about 'Me and My God' when I wake up later. With a title like, 'Me And My God' I'd like to be able to hear the vocals clearly, so maybe they need to be a bit louder; never the less, I would dance to this track if I were out and about and it came on; like the tarantella, I would dance. There is no way out but to dance.
What I don't understand though is how you can be in a band and settle for sounding like other bands who have made it. I mean, its OK to have influences right? But the thought that stops me from enjoying this band is this:
What can I say, I'm sure if I was still a teenager, I'd adore this band. Over and out
from those who have found a black hole to listen to instead.

'AM I LOOPED IN SOME TIME WARP WHERE MUSIC NEVER EVOLVES? COS I THOUGHT THAT WAS THE ONE THING US HUMAN BEINGS WERE RENOWNED FOR! I MEAN ITS BEEN THOUSANDS OF YEARS SINCE HUMANKIND PICKED UP A STICK AND WHACKED IT ON SOME HARDISH SURFACE TO CREATE THE BIG F***ING BANG! SINCE THEN WE'VE HAD BEETHOVEN, HENDRIX AND THE BLOOMING KINKS,CLASH, SEX PISTOLS! MOVE THE F**K ON!'
