Pierre Bouvier tells us that he wrote this song about his brother’s battle with cancer, a pretty strong subject to base a song on. I personally love this song, and even though
Simple Plan appear to have changed their style slightly, they still have that special pop-punk quality about them which separates them from so many bands in the genre.
Simple Plan have always been known for their catchy hooks, and this song delivers them in both the lead vocals and the backing vocals.
If you follow the lyrics of this song you can tell it’s based on something close to
Pierre’s heart. Some bands can write songs that may sound like it’s based on one subject, but you can tell it’s based on something completely different.
Simple Plan have written a song which means a lot to them (especially Pierre) and when you listen to it for the first time you can sense, and just know it has a strong meaning behind it. This isn’t the first time
