The Creepshow are a female fronted psychobilly band along the lines of the Horrorpops, Nekromantix, etc. While the music is nothing out of the ordinary The Creepshow plays the genre with the best of them.
Having released a critically acclaimed debut in Canada named "Sell Your Soul", the band is back with a proper American release, "Run For Your Life" on Canada's Stomp Records (distributed through LumberJack-Mordam).
"Run For Your Life" delivers eleven blood drenched, country-tinged, punk rock shockers straight from the psychobilly underworld. The disc encompasses every composition possible, from mournful ballads to catch boot stompin' anthems from horrorbilly to punk. Sarah Sin's vocals are stunning, Sick Boi's bass lines are infectious, Matt Pomade's drumming is beat-tantalizing, and Reverend McGinty's keys are the glue that holds it all together.
Overall, "Run For Your Life" by The Creepshow is fun and definitely worth giving a listen to and a purchase shortly after . The Creepshow are for punk, psychobilly, and fans of emo alike.
