Gentle pop to soothe the soul. Le Corps Mince De Francoise are uber cool, infact they wreak of cool, you can smell them from a mile off. The three scandinavian sisters have something very special here, a cloud of punkability synth pop underlined with a fresh ambiance that we definitely need in new music.

The single 'Bitch Of The Bitches' grows on you so quickly it's untrue. You will be clicking that repeat button like nobodies business. The track features haunting vocals delivered with a pop attitude. This is helped along with some quality synth riff's and jungle style big beats. It kind of sounds like a Bjork remix musically layered alongside CSS and The Knife in a vocal battle. It does have an eccentric Europe feel to it, much like any artist to come from these strange countries (Bjork, Sigur Ros, CSS, The Knife). "Of Course I'd Like, To Play With You" is tantalizingly sexual, it draws you in, but keeps you on the edge of your seat ready to dance like a fruity loop. The whole track has an ambient reverb to it that works so well, especially during busy multilayered periods on the song.

No doubt NME will be all over LCMDF like a wet kitten, if their first release is this good then the we are all in for a treat when the album comes to our stores. Finland seems to be quiet in spreading their musical children into the UK and beyond, lets hope this is the first of many. Oh and for the record Le Corps Mince De Francoise to us english thugs, 'The Slim Body Of Francoise', hell knows what that means.

Bjork vs CSS vs The Knife Remixed = Finnish Electro Pop, Le Corps Mince De Francoise.
