Underoath take a more gentle approach to their newest single "Too Bright To See, Too Loud To Hear". The track features some dramatic pitch perfect vocals that are more soothing than Carvonia cough syrup. Spencer Chamberlain absolutely rips the track to shreds with his lyrical harmonics, this guys vocals are unreal. Alot of critics could dub Underoath as "just another North American rock band", but with this 4min13sec track they prove themselves that they can diverse into a more progressive style. Listening to their Myspace page gives an output to the listener of some heavy screamo band, but hopefully this tune will change that.

"Too Bright To See, Too Loud To Hear" builds and builds into an epic wonderland of playful guitar and drum interactions. Using short burst of energy to create an uplifting effect. The drum reverb adds and extra layer to the whole thing, creating a blanket of rythm behind a sea of harmonies. The final build up cuts back to Underoath's "Typical sound" using heavy riffs and some throat crackling shouts.

"Too Bright To See, Too Loud To Hear" in three words: Uplifting, Emotional, Epic.
