Altsounds - Attack! Attack! - Honesty [Single]

Yawn…. Another Panic At The Disco, Fall Out Boy castaway. “Honesty” is predictable and boring, another simple catchy little diddy that every young emo wannabe punk rock chick that wants to be Avril Lavigne will love and scream over. This will find its way into the charts no worries along with that horrific, “Shake Shake” tune from Metro bloody Station. Cue the overplayed record please Radio 1.

“Butt Rock” spring to mind on first listen, with soft porn lyrics, basic guitar chords and a foot tapping bum-beat. “Honesty didn’t get me anywhere” is bellowed out in an attempted to be heartfelt but just sounds like a couple saying “Baby” to each other. Credit goes out for tight musicianship and a well produced track but come on lads think of something new.

“Take a pinch of salt with every word that i say”, jesus boys could it be anymore cliché. I would like to take that salt and rub it in all eight of your eyes.
