Heh. Bit of controversy on this one then.

Sure I appreciate cinematic music but mostly only in the cinema because it is best employed as a background where it can enhance a focal point. Which is what I'm saying in the review - to my mind there is no focal point on this album.

Now I'm the first to admit that this genre isn't exactly home turf but 'an abundance of ill-informed facts' is a bit strong. You're obviously a fan though so passions are apt to run high. To each his own indeed.
God, imagine what kind of response I'd have got if I'd said I didn't like the bloody thing!

Ha I know, it's good to see people sticking up for bands they love, but most of the time the people that do are just enforcing a double standard in that they are calling you wrong for your opinion on it. It could be worse, you could have gotten someone from the band, who is pretending their not in the band commenting. They are the funniest ones.

Yeh i love those ones, especially if the band are REALLY shit.

In fact, it is usually the REALLY shit bands that this happens with.
