The latest single from four piece alternative rock band Fightstar does exactly what it says on the tin. They "never change" by releasing yet another solid three minute experimental rock piece to build their ever growing respect and fan base in the music industry.
Fightstar seem to have this ability to use vocal harmony to create a wall of melodies with spine tingling climaxes. 'Never Change' is no different, it features the strong, husky vocal from Charlie Simpson alongside Alex Westaway's high pitched harmonies. Both working with each other to keep the song simple and safe. An advantage of their music and vocals is the ability for the listener to be able to sing along within a few listens as the lyrics have a strange way of grabbing your attention. Each album Fightstar have released has just gotten better, and more complex but at the same time keeping true to themselves. Each band member has a unreal grasp of their instrument and uses it to its full potential. Omar rains down the pain with 'Never Change' adding some cool effect to the drum track.
The way things are going for Fightstar at the moment couldn't be any better, they haven't dried up after three studio albums, an EP and however many singles they have actually released.
"Never Change" is nothing new from Fightstar, yet somehow you are left still wanting more. Lets hope Fightstar can carry on delivering some top notch rock tunes in the coming years.
