Atlantic
Sure, Enter Shikari blew up long before Friendly Fires relegated them to second spot on the most famous band to come from St.Albans list. But you begrudgingly had to hand it to them: what with keeping things semi-real and the whole DIY label thing, they were easy to ignore but hard not to respect.
No Sleep Tonight is the lead single from the group's second album 'Common Dreads', one on which they've lyrically decided to take on "THE MAN" and all the really naughty things he does to us all.
Growing up is fine, but the problem is that Enter Shikari have also decided to ditch all the screamo / rave schtick, a problem because after all it was the only vaguely interesting musical feature they ever had.
Apparently about international bankers, this new direction sounds like Hundred Reasons and thus can be stuck immediately in the worthy but dull file.
I realize that you Enter Shikari fans are now pointing angrily at your 24 inch flatscreens, demanding to know why the hell I chose to review this record in the first place. Trust me, I've spent the last twenty four hours asking myself exactly the same thing.
