Milow - Ayo Technogoloy [Single] 1 Attachment(s) Euro balladising of 50 Cent’s Neanderthal jaunt ‘Ayo Technology’, shows up Johnathon Vandenbroek AKA Milow's ability to truly illuminate the heart in music. More often than not, it is with a throbbing acoustic spin where more vocal clarity is also given to a usually robust offering. What's nice for me in a song is when you’re easily able to assess a song’s lyrical edge, its potential timeless, structure and meaning. In this case, the yearningly delivered vocal stride does justice to the cry for a return to simplicity in a world full of technological advances. Unfortunately, when swaggering self-confidence is needed in order to show superiority in the wooing of an object of desire, the impact is a tad limp. This bracing Belgium artist has the ambient scattered foraging ability of the likes of Magnet and, to a lesser extent, Four Tet. It seems obvious that with suitable lyrics, especially using the personal touch of a song written by his own hand; Milow could be a romantic film soundtrack compiler’s dream. ![]() |
