White Belt Yellow Tag - Tell Your Friends (It All Worked Out) [Single]
 

'Tell Your Friends' really bristles throughout it's duration. There's a coarseness that frequently gives way to Coral-esque playful melodies arriving from left-field but hugely welcoming. For literally 2 and a half minutes White Belt Yellow Tag (featuring ex-Yourcodenameis:milo guitarist Justin Lockey alongside Craig Pilbin) really drive the limits of a two-piece and beyond creating deft flourishes of serrated rock via fairground folly - it's uncomplicated in sound which is a credit to them.

B-side '146 Ways' is also no throwaway track but instead a very taut meander through Gomez funk territory with some uplifting harmonic vocals and a lovely continuous piano plod, the pace is pitched just perfect and the track really does shine every bit as much as the A-side despite it's relatively short time.
