With debut album 'Starsign Trampoline' just on the horizon Lucky Elephant release the first fruits from it's musical loins in the shape of a little baby double A-side.

First up out of the studio-like womb is 'Edgar' which shimmers with summer sparkle though not the sort of summer sparkle we are used to on this little island (i.e. none!), it's all plods and plinks that serve to highlight the bright little melodies that bask in the glorious background as vocalist Manu gives us plenty of "Aaaahh / Aaaahh" in his French twang, before ending on a very baffling 10 seconds of Karate Kid style musing - odd but I like it.

Eponymous track 'Lucky Elephant' is an instrumental that again aims for the bright shimmering of it's predecessor it's all playful organ and caressed melodica. There's a certain hint of children's television theme tune about it but don't ask me what tune, I'll leave you to make up your own minds.
