Set Your Goals return with their second full length release 'This Will Be The Death Of Us'. It is the second album for them and their first album release on Epitaph (after their manager cleverly bought out their previous label's contract!) Moving to Epitaph always seems to have bands up their game slightly more, this is probably down to the punk heritage that Epitaph as a label showcases with bands such as NOFX, The Offspring, Rancid and Bad Religion being amongst it's vast alumni.

Set Your Goals have decided to make a record here that showcases them as a band to anyone who may not already be familiar. Not only that but they have also decided to celebrate the past by bringing a shed load of their friends along for the ride with guest spots by Hayley Williams (Paramore) on 'The Few That Remain' and Chad Gilbert on the closing track 'Our Ethos...' which in turn celebrates 90's punk.

'This Will Be The Death Of Us' is a well produced record with a good combination of vocals and instrumentation showing the melodic, hardcore mix that Set your Goals provide with a little acoustic interlude thrown in for good measure. The lyrics cover good ground with 'Look Closer' showing them reminiscing about past tours with The Warriors amongst other events, 'The Few That Remain' being about people trying to be something they're not.

'This Will Be The Death Of Us' will be the Album that breaks Set Your Goals into a more mainstream landscape and I expect that the forthcoming tour will have a few new fans come December watching them. Good for them, Set Your Goals rock.
