Over stars and gutters seem to be one of those bands that are genuinely in the game purely for their love of making music. Their no messing around attitude to getting out there and getting the songs done is nothing short of impressive. Over Stars and Gutters pride themselves on what they do, not giving into any ego’s by assuming they are the best there is, and striving to be all that they can be.

Their latest album ‘Consider This Your Curse’, is an impressive and powerful piece of work. Taking it back to the way that punk rock should be played; gritty guitars, driving drums and chanted and rebellious sounding vocals that seem to say ‘I may not be the best singer….but I'm going to anyway’!

Their ‘no nonsense’ approach to the band and getting their views and ideas out there are strongly present in virtually all the songs on 'Consider This Your Curse' as it is crammed with choruses that you can just here being chanted by thousands of fans in any arena, making this a collection of punk rock anthems.


A lot of people may not be into punk or ‘raw’ sounding music. If that’s the case, then steer clear of Over Stars and Gutters. However, if like myself you are a fan of such greats as: Rancid, Bad Religion or Bouncing Souls to name a few, then this is definitely going to hit the spot.

Every track on ' Consider This Your Curse' seems to provide just as much energy and power as it's predecessor giving a non stop, ten track strong collection of some of the catchiest and most exciting music that the punk rock scene has offered in recent memory.
