I have a bit of a problem with Blu-Ray, as I had only just spent my hard earned cash on a rather flash HD DVD player at Christmas 2008, when it was announced by Warner Brothers the very next month that they would only produce new releases for Blu-Ray, effectively signalling the end of the High Definition War, and HD DVD with it. ‘Blue Wray’ on the other hand is the debut single from Spectrum 7, but if they think a spelling amendment is going to fool my prejudice, they’ve got another thing coming.
Thank god then that I am not made to feel guilty for this discrimination, as it turns out I dislike ‘Blue Wray’ even more than Sony’s devil child. I don’t listen to enough of this kind of dross to make any fair comparisons, but what the hell, I’m not in a fair mood. Expect plenty of sub-standard Enter Shikari but absolutely no Enter Tainment. For those that are interested (you get out much?) ‘Blue Wray’ is taken from Spectrum 7’s forthcoming debut mini album (I’ve a hunch it won’t be mini enough) ‘So Silent the Night’.
Here’s hoping that silence is a theme throughout.
